Paradise
This is my Paradise Rose. One of those off chances on getting a rose that I have never seen again. It was in the clearance section of one of those box stores. Only one there, at a price I couldn’t beat. Three years later it’s still giving me huge, beautiful blooms. Starting in a lavender shade and fading to hot pink. Yes, fading to hot pink. Always an eye catcher when it blooms. My other rose Don Juan is doing well. Lots of blooms this year. I have two new roses. Opening Night and Olympiad. Olympiad has two buds on it. It looks to be a wonderfully deep shade of red.
Killer Rabbit Amigurumi
So here it is. My killer rabbit. It’s a group on Ravelry and Yahoo. Like sock wars, but with bunnies. I didn’t play though, I just tested the pattern. Came out pretty cute though. People have already tried to steal it.
My neck of the woods
My clematis has bloomed. This one is called The President. I love the colors of it, and the size. It’s as big as my hand.
I watched a really good movie the other day. P.S. I love you. It’s sad at first, and just gets better. One of those that you tell your hubby to just go on so you can watch it in peace.
Other than that, not a lot going on here. I’ve been knitting a Carolina Panthers scarf for my Nana, and watching my flowers bloom. My roses are so close. I’ll probably have a pic of them in a week!
